I’m in high school right now and its finals week any ideas for hoe to get me to keep going?

    • Sadot Martinez says:

If you have a difficult time finding well, time, try to do half of the workout but a little more intense (if you modify regularly). But that’s just me. Good luck, buddy…with finals, too!

  5. Tim Witherspoon says:

I have a bulging disc in my L-5 area in my lower back. Not having surgery doctor thinks I should hold off on that at this time. I am just tired of having it control me!! I love P90X and all that Beachbody offers. What can I do to work around my injury? Thanks Tony!!
    Tim

    • Lee Swartz says:

      Tim-

I have the same issue. I’m doing X2 right now, and my back is doing much better. I went out and purchased a zero gravity chair, new shoes, made a deliberate effort to keep my core tight during all excercises, and modify any move that requires me to bend my back in a way that wasn’t comfortable. I’d say to take it slow and easy if you want to get back to it, but just like the folks that made the video will tell you- It’s not wise to start this without talking to a Doctor, or in my case, a Chiropractor. Good luck buddy!

      • Tim Witherspoon says:

Lee thank you for sharring. I have been working out with P90x & some Insanity cardio as well. Modify modify modify to get thru so far so good!! Thanks again!!

    • Sandy Reed says:

I have the same problem. I had to see a chiropractor and take and advil for a week, started back today with P90X1 yoga but only did the first half.

    Hi Tony
I have purchased p90x DVDs and guided workouts, is there a way I can get the DVD workouts on my apple divices so that I can see you and the others working out with me along side the guided workouts. I thought that was what the guided workouts were. Anyway love (and hate,,) the workouts can’t wait to see my results at the end.

TRX trainer or Jungle gym Xt?

When doing the 10 minute trainer each day the work out is 3 items of the body a day to help speed things up should a do 4 a day

  15. Seda Savas says:

Hey Tony, i’m a friend from Turkey. It’s a little weird to tell. I see you everyday, i talk to you, i laugh at you, i work with you but i don’t know you. I wish i can do. Whatever. You are changing my life everyday and i just wanted to say “Thank you!”. Seda.

    Thanks,
    Ramon

  17. Ali says:

Tony! I really want to loose about 10% body fat (I am at around 25%) and gain muscle. My diet is super clean, but I want to get cut (Like Dreya!) I was thinking about doing insanity cardio combined with p90x weight training, but lifting heavy to fail at rep 8. What do you think?

  18. Teddy says:

Hey Tony, I have a question. Duh of course I do. Sometimes when I workout the day after I don’t feel sore or anything. I mix up what kind of workouts I do everyday. Is feeling sore a good thing? Cause I feel if I don’t feel sore then I’m not improving.

  19. Andrew says:

Tony ever watch Ninja Warrior? I think you would wreck it!!!

  20. Corryne says:

Hey Tony! :) So I know that you say booo to caffeine….But if I’m only drinking (light/medium roast) one or two cups a day is that ok?…

    P.S. I LOVE P90X2 <3

  21. barbara says:

Hi! I have been doing p90x for 7 weeks now. I really still dont like the yoga. Can I replace that with one of the other workouts?

  22. Chris says:

Are any of the exercise routines outlined in “Bring It” included in any DVD offering?

    Thanks – Chris

  23. Lyndsey says:

    Tony,
When someone has over 100lbs to lose (and is using P90X) is there a point where you can modify moves too much, or is it OK as long as you are feeling the burn or “making the last 3 count”?

  24. Dean Milam says:

Tony, your Bring it book is the best. I have started over again with P90X. I gave it up about a month, then I purchased your book, finished it and you have given me the movitation to start and finish p90X this time. Again Thanks
    Dean

    • Suz says:

I agree with you, Dean – Tony’s “Bring It” takes a good bit of Tony’s advice and puts it all in one place. Reading it gave me the attitude adjustment I needed to be able to commit to working out every single day.

Keep pushing play! You’re going to make it this time! :)

  25. Keir says:

Hey Tony! So, here’s my question – I started P90X in February doing Lean. I had to quit for three weeks because the low back pain I had was really extreme. After three weeks off, I started up again. I’m on day 31 today and the low back pain is still prevalent. Someone said to me “maybe P90X isn’t for you”. This pissed me off and I refuse to accept that. I’ve been to the doc, it’s all muscular and my guess is it’s just doing moves that my back isn’t used to. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks so much for the program, I love it!!

  26. Bill says:

Hey Tony, just became a coach under a good friend of yours Jason Scheff. I’ve been an X’er for over three years now, and am totally sold out on you fitness philosophies. The only thing I disagree with you on is how much you like fruit. Fruit has so much sugar and carbs, can’t that inhibit weight loss? Yes, I’m a low carb low sugar guy, lol. Thanks Tone, Bill

  27. renata says:

super nice Tony…you are the best!

  28. Brittney says:

I am getting tired of eating salads and grilled chicken…I need some quick eating tips! I have 4 kids and this eating healthier thing has to be fast! I am new at trying veggies, but I have been trying :)

  29. Brent says:

I’m just finishing up my my 1st round of P90X (in the recovery week) and was wondering how long should I wait before I start P90X2 or a 2nd round of P90X if needed

  30. Kris says:

Hi Tony, I’m just finishing P90x (week 12) And loving it. Should I go on to P90x plus or jump straight to P90x 2 ?

  31. Luis A. Rios says:

Hi Tony I am a fan of your workouts. 32. Jason says:

Anyone can answer this for me. When doing Ab Ripper X is it more beneficial to do all 25 reps and take longer breaks in between or to do less reps with shorter breaks? I feel my ab muscles working more when I take the longer breaks but I am interested to hear what others think. KEEP PUSHING PLAY!!

  33. Britt says:

Hi Tony! I just have a quick ? I am starting to train to become a long distance runner & just wanted to know what u thought about me still continuing to do p90x everyday along with running everyday as well. Is it safe in ur opinion to add my running to my p90x too? I just didn’t want to over do it but at the same time I would still love to continue my p90x program too…..help :)

  34. Joslyn says:

I heard what you said about store bought juices. What if you are juicing at home? Would you still not recommend it?

  35. Mike Barrera says:

Tony – What are your thoughts on Crossfit? Also, I just got done with recovering from Rhabdo from a crossfit workout and a fat burner supplement. Will P90x cause me to go into Rhabdo again?

  36. Mike Barrera says:

    Tony –

I was curious as to what your thoughts are on Crossfit? Second, I have just recovered from a run in with Rhabdo (from crossfit workouts, and a fat burner supplement), and I was wondering if you think it is safe to do the P90x workouts? Have you ever had or known anyone that has had Rhabdo?

    Mike

  37. Darren says:

So here is my question, when you speak, you talk of eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. Yet throughout p90x, my nutritional guide says that i should only be having 1 fruit serving a day. I love fruit – can i actually have more than one serving per day?

  38. Matt says:

    Hey Tony,

Just started P90X 6 days ago after leading a sedintary life for the past 15 years. The workouts are so tough but I feel the pain and know its ultimately getting me to my ultimate goal. Thanks! Do you have any plans on visiting the Captial Region of NY in the future? We upstate NY’ers could really use the kick in the pants to get us back in shape.

Thanks for all that you do!
Matt – Bringing it! since 5/2/12

  39. Sarah says:

Hey! I am on week two of P90x and this is my second run through! I LOVE IT!

The only big difference I am doing is that I am eatting half a protein bar instead of the shake but it works! :)

Thanks for making this program! :D
